Anti-Plagiarism and Scientific Integrity

All submitted manuscripts are evaluated in terms of plagiarism before the peer review process, in the first stage of analyses (scanned for plagiarism in the preliminary editorial evaluation). The manuscripts with a similarity ratio of plagiarism considered too high (eg. 10-20%) are the subjects of an in-depth analysis by the editorial board. Depending on the result of the analysis, these manuscripts may be rejected directly or returned to the authors together with the anti-plagiarism report, for a possible new submission. Consequently, before submitting manuscripts to the journal, the authors are invited to check the similarity status/ratio in the work with appropriate plagiarism software programs (iThenticate, Turnitin, etc.).
